I need to be honest, as lip fillers and lip injections look amazing on both men and women alike, I'm personally afraid to try it. Watch the video below or see the listed tips and tricks in this post to learn how to create an illusion of bigger lips.
To overline your lips, think of a coloring book and coloring inside of the lines… We are going to do the total opposite of what we were taught and color outside the lines of our lips.
To do this, simply outline your lips working the lip liner a tad bit outside of your lip line to create an illusion of bigger lips. Then apply your lipstick and/or lip gloss over top to complete your look.
In the video, I used the ColourPop Lippie Pencil to overline my lips!
2. "OUTSIDE IN" TECHNIQUE
The “outside in” technique is something I’ve learned over the past few years and I do this trick on clients that want the illusion of bigger lips.
This technique consists of lining your lips not starting from your cupid’s bow but from the outer corner of your lips and working the line inward. Doing this will create an illusion of having a bigger lip.
In the video, I used the Make Up For Ever Waterproof Aqua Lip Lipliner Pencil!
3. PLUMPING LIP GLOSS
Most of us know that applying a shiny lip gloss could create an illusion of having bigger lips. If you want an extra oomph to your lips, try using a plumping lip gloss that contains ingredients like wintergreen and cinnamon that will help increase blood circulation to your lips. You can also use any lip gloss that has a tingling sensation like the one I'm using in the video.
When applying any plumping lip gloss, apply it alone for a glossy luscious finish or apply it overtop any lip combination for extra dimension. Do what you think is best for your lips.

Highlighting has been around for ages but just in the recent years, highlighting has taken the beauty world to a whole ‘nother level. Highlighting every high point of your face is something everyone is doing.
So let’s just say, you can highlight areas on your lips to create an illusion of bigger and fuller lips. Highlighting your cupid’s bow and the inner part of your bottom lip will if your lips a more luscious appearance.
